Tax Time
Late February is about the middle of the period of time from January 1st to April 15th - deadline date for submitting your income taxes. It is not panic time but we should all be diligent about submitting our taxes long before the 15th deadline. Of course, some of you need more time and the August 15th date and even October 15th comes around faster than we realize. Let me challenge you to stop procrastinating, and dig deep in your records for those tax deductions. You will feel so good when it is all done and in the mail. Speaking of mail - remember to send your Income Tax Filing papers special delivery with confirmation so you know they were received on time.

Welcome to my Blog
Today as I write my first blog, I am reminded how quickly things change around us and for some of us it is hard to make changes. Just yesterday, it was a warm summer day, we were working in our yards, going swimming, or planning our late summer vacation. These are good memories, and they will last until spring. Being inside during the winter months gives us an opportunity to catch up with reading, visiting our family and friends, and as any good organizer would say - cleaning out closets, clutter, and stuff. Also, we need to think about the beginning the calendar year 2010 more orderly than we are leaving 2009. So, I encourage you to look around you, take a day or two to put order to your life, your home and your financial document. Your load will be much lighter as you begin to enjoy the holiday season.
